Head of Marketing and Communication Unit

Welcome Note

The Marketing and Communication Unit (MCU)  (formerly known as the Public Relations Office) was formed in 2022 aiming at publicizing and marketing the university of Dodoma (UDOM). Among MCU’s important roles are to build and maintain the corporate image within the University community and between the University and its stakeholders. The Unit also facilitates internal and external communications of the University. As such, the MCU is the focal point of communication for university stakeholders and simplifies information flow from one part of the university to another.

Moreover, MCU is responsible for publishing general university information, news, and events for sharing with both internal and external audiences. Our goal is to achieve deliberate marketing and a positive relationship with the UDOM stakeholders to promote the university’s vision, mission, and core functions.

Currently, the MCU operates through two sections namely; the section of Communication and the Marketing section to ensure that the links are well publicized so that interested stakeholders would exploit the opportunities. We disseminate our information both in person and online to achieve quick and effective communication with our internal and external stakeholders.
