Directorate of Library Services (DLS)

Structure

The Directorate of Library Services operates under the office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic, Research, and Consultancy). The Directorate of Library Services has seven collections in the respective colleges/schools/institutes and an Institutional Repository unit. The Directorate of Library Services is headed by the Director of Library Services, assisted by Heads of College/School/Institute Library collections. The seven library collections are:

- Business, Economics, and Law Collection: This collection is at the College of Business and Economics. It provides information resources appropriate for business, economics, law, and the Chinese language.

- Earth Sciences and Engineering Collection: This collection is located in the College of Informatics and Virtual Education Library building. It offers information resources on earth sciences, engineering, and related sciences.

- Education Collection: This collection is located at the College of Education. It contains education-related information resources and services.

- Health Sciences Collection: This collection is at the School of Medicine and Dentistry/School of Nursing and Public Health. It provides information resources and services in health sciences and related sciences.

- The Humanities and Social Sciences Collection is at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. It is appropriate for the Humanities and Social sciences.

- Informatics and Virtual Education Collection: This collection is located at the College of Informatics and Virtual Education. It provides ICT-related information resources.

- Natural and Mathematical Sciences Collection: This collection offers information resources and services in Natural Sciences and related fields.
