Godson Godfray Makweta joined the University of Dodoma after completing his study in BSc (Hon) Applied Geology at the University of Dodoma. His first appointment at the University of Dodoma was as a Tutorial Assistant and instructor for Non-degree programs in the Department of Geology. Since his appointment as a Tutorial assistant to the Department of Geology, Godson has been promoted to Assistant Lecturer in 2018 after completion of his Postgraduate studies in MSc in Petroleum Geosciences in 2017. He has taken on leadership roles as PI in a research project funded by the University of Dodoma (2017 -2018) and the project has involved a team of academic staff and he has developed a research interest in Structural Geology, Petroleum Geology, and Economic geology.
