John Rugarabamu is a trained Mining Engineer from The University of Dar es Salaam. After his graduation in 2007 with a BSc degree in Mining Engineering, he joined and worked as a mining engineer at Geita and Buzwagi Gold Mines to a year 2010 when he joined the academic cadre. He pursued and completed his MSc degree in Environmental Technology and Management from Ardhi University in 2014. John has eight years of teaching experience and has taught Mine Ventilation and Climate Control, Mine Economics, Mine Geostatistics and other Mining related courses just to mention a few. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Chemical Engineering at China University of Petroleum (Eastern China).
