About Saada

Saada Ali Seif is a dedicated Senior Lecturer at the University of Dodoma with a working experience of more than 17 years in academics.

With a robust educational background including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Public Health, and a PhD in Reproductive and Maternal Health, Saada brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as academician in the field. Saada believes in the transformative power of education and research, thus she is very committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment through her experience where students can develop their knowledge and skills.

Beyond her academic responsibilities, Saada is actively involved in conducting research and contributing to the academic community through publications and professional development activities. Her research focus lies in the critical area of Reproductive and Maternal and Child Health aiming to contribute to the improvement of healthcare services in these critical areas.

Her expertise is evident through her impressive publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her versatile skills in scientific writing, designing and analyzing of qualitative, quantitative, experimental, and mixed-method studies, have proven to be instrumental in her selection as a reviewer for numbers of local and international peer-reviewed journals. Saada’s actively involvement in public health professional association where she collaborates with other experts in the field, exemplifies a passionate educator and researcher making significant contributions to drive positive change and advancements in healthcare.

Saada's commitment to excellence has been recognized through her prestigious awards of two project funds from the University of Dodoma, she was once positioned as a head of department of nursing and midwifery, nominated as a dean of school of nursing and public health and selected as a best employer of the department of Public health and community nursing in the 2023-2024 academic year. Outside the University, she has been recognized among the top 2000 Tanzanian scientists and ranked number 813 in the country in the 2023 AD Scientific Index.

Looking ahead, Saada aims to continue her work in research and education, furthering her impact in reproductive, maternal and child health to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations.
