I am currently on study leave for PhD studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Apart from teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, I do consultancies on health program designing, implementation and evaluation, health training development, curriculum development, report/document designing and development, and health research. I have expertise in designing and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research related to clinical, education and public health nature, more interested in systematic reviews and meta analysis, methodological studies for cross-cultural adaptation and validation of instruments and randomized controlled trials. My research interest areas include psycho-oncology, geriatrics and neuropsychology, nursing education and critical care. My current project focuses on 'Intervention strategies to improve cognitive health among older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in Tanzania.' I am also working with a research group from Uppsala University and Muhimbili National Hospital to develop a project and test an e-Health intervention for guardians of children with cancer in Tanzania following the MRC guidelines.
