I am a graduate of Bachelor of Veterinary (BVM) and Master of Veterinary medicine from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro Tanzania and PhD (Free University of Berlin) and now I am the Professor of Game Capture, Telemetry and Anesthesiology in the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Theriogenology. I am involved in a number of research projects particularly in wildlife diseases, immobilization, anaesthesia and telemetry. I have supervised more than 20 undergraduate students, masters’ students and co-supervised one PhD. I have published over 30 papers in peer reviewed journals and several papers in conference proceedings. Internationally I am a member of the wildlife disease association, Africa and Middle East Chapter.
