The Blue Economy holds immense importance for Tanzania, not only for its economic development but also for scientific advancements. It encompasses sectors such as coastal tourism, ports, transportation, fisheries, and aquaculture, which contribute significantly to the country's economy. By harnessing the potential of these sectors, Tanzania can create employment opportunities, particularly for coastal communities, and reduce poverty levels.
